The Postgraduate Medical Education & Research will decide who is eligible for JIPMER BSc Nursing. The fundamental parameter used to evaluate candidates’ readiness for the course is their eligibility. The prerequisites for JIPMER Nursing are listed below;
- Candidates should be citizens of India.
- By December 31, the applicant must be 17 years old.
- Candidates must have successfully completed class 12 or exams of a similar level from a reputable board or university.
- Candidates from the (Unreserved) UR category must have received at least 50% of the possible points, while candidates from the (Reserved) SC/ST category must have received at least 40% of the possible points and candidates from the OPH category must have received 45% of the possible points.
- The candidate should have completed class 12 in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

JIPMER Nursing Counseling for 2023:
The JIPMER Nursing Counseling process will begin in the third week of August 2023. The candidates’ entrance exam rankings will be taken into account when providing counseling. Candidates must report to the designated colleges for the completion of the admission procedures after receiving their seats.
Candidates who have been chosen to participate in the counseling process are required to appear at the counseling center according to the schedule that has been provided. When visiting the counseling center, candidates should have all necessary documentation with them. Once the counseling process is finished, candidates will be assigned seats.
When reporting for the verification rounds, the candidate must bring the following documents:
- Mark sheets and certificates for grades 10 and 12.
- 2023 JIPMER Nursing rank card.
- Caste and category certification.
